After ReDem evaluates your survey, the Respondent Table on the survey results page lists every interview with quality scores, cleaning status, and question-level results. Use it to filter, sort, download, and open detailed views for individual respondents.

Respondent detail view

Click any row in the Respondent Table to open the respondent detail view. From there you can review:
  • Overview: ReDem Score, individual quality check scores, quality check weights on the overall score, and AI-generated respondent insights
  • Quality check tabs: Drill into OES, CHS, GQS, TS, and BAS results for that respondent, including flagged answers, patterns, and visualizations where available
  • Cleaning: Included or excluded status and the reasons for exclusion

AI-generated respondent insights

ReDem can generate a plain-language summary that explains a respondent’s quality profile: what the scores indicate and, when applicable, why the respondent is recommended for exclusion. Each insight has two parts:
  • Summary: A concise overview of the respondent’s ReDem Score level and how each active quality check reads (for example, open-ended answer quality, grid patterns, or coherence issues)
  • Conclusion: A focused takeaway on whether the respondent looks fine or why they were excluded
Insights are based on that respondent’s scores, flags, and cleaning status.

Generate insights for one respondent

  1. Open the respondent detail view from the Respondent Table.
  2. Go to the Overview tab.
  3. Click Generate Insights.
Generation usually takes a few seconds. Once complete, the summary and conclusion stay saved on that respondent until you regenerate them.

Explain all respondents

For larger reviews, use Explain All in the Respondent Table toolbar to generate insights in bulk.
  1. Open the survey results page.
  2. Click Explain All above the Respondent Table.
  3. Confirm the operation.
ReDem queues insights for respondents that are excluded or have a Coherence Score below 80. Included respondents with a CHS of 80 or above are skipped, because they typically need less manual review. Bulk generation runs in the background. You can stay on the page or navigate elsewhere; a progress indicator shows while jobs are still running. When a respondent’s insight is ready, open their detail view on the Overview tab to read it.
If a respondent could not be evaluated (for example, when the ReDem Score is unavailable), ReDem does not generate an insight for them.

Exports

When at least one respondent in the export has a generated insight, Excel and CSV downloads include an Explanation column with the summary and conclusion combined.
